Mezcalitos in Reutlingen

Staff is friendly. The food was good too ... after about half an hour I got really sick and vomited several times A short time later I went to the hospital and I found food poisoning. When you wanted to draw the chef's attention to this, he just said yes, because of the quality of our food, it can't be who you look at but the reviews have happened more often ... They probably want to fool themselves, won't go out to eat here anymore. Especially after such a statement from a boss, maybe he should eat some of what he offers his customers!

Nice place to feel good, just too crowded for Corona times or did you want to bridge the light lockdown? Food OK, but the chef should do a course on how to make spare ribs or guacamole. Good ideas but the implementation is lacking. Expandable ....

Not Mexican food, I order a Taco and it came a big filled ravioli!!!! Never seen before, are only half of it, no spice at all!!! Mexican food is way out of reach...

I was very excited to have some Mexican in the Germanic world as an American . Although some notions were tasty (they can grill chicken), it was ultimately a disappointment. Pico de gallo, corn, and fresh salsa should be the basis, but each element was completely missing. The salsa was basically pizza sauce from a can, and this is a complete disrespect to the cuisine. The jalapeños I paid extra for were pickled in a can and not fresh (disgusting). Beyond that, the menu shows no interest in truly inspirational aspects of Mexican cuisine, like mole. This restaurant is ersatz Mexican. Go for fun if you want, but don't judge the cuisine by what is offered here.

Cocktails are great and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, the kitchen has slacked off noticeably. The fried potatoes were still very crisp, but the steak through instead of medium, and that again. We eat steaks somewhere else now. Great atmosphere for drinking cocktails.

The food at Mezcalitos is always good as usual. The prices for the food are also reasonable. The portions are generous so that you can be full. The atmosphere in the Mezcalitos is cozy and there is also enough space outside. Inside, unfortunately, you sit a bit close together. The service is mostly very friendly and hard-working. There are criticisms for the drinks. For example, if you order a "zombie" for 9.50 euros, you might think it's Easter. You can only look for the alcohol in the cocktail. When asked, the service staff replied that this was set in the "cocktail machine". To be fair, they give me something more, but then you have to pay a surcharge. Even after refilling it was more like a fruit cocktail. Especially since at this price I can also expect a cocktail that was mixed by a bartender. Here price / performance is unfortunately out of proportion. In the past you could still enjoy the best cocktails there in Reutlingen. Unfortunately, this no longer appears to be the case.

Very friendly service but sloppy cuisine and service. With four meals, two were delivered without the requested changes, even though she started serving. Order a light and get a half. The piled up beef was not piled up even with four strips of meat ...

The food was actually quite good but the 2 of us had diarrhea and extreme stomach pain afterwards .... Staff was very friendly and the cocktails were way too sweet

I can only agree with the negative reviews about the vacant tables outside. Was there yesterday and asked the restaurant manager, there were over 7 tables free outside he said only inside and is straight back in and we stood there. For a moment I thought, ok then inside, but then if he doesn't even care whether we stay or not - definitely not. Mr. dang (4 people) won for this. Never again !

I really like to eat there. The quality is always very good, the wait staff are all friendly and courteous. The interior is well chosen. The menu is very composed, the drinks menu offers something to drink for absolutely everyone. All in all, it is one of my top 5 in Reutlingen and the surrounding area

I loved it! Even if the place is crowded, the noise is not too much. The staff is extremely friendly and the menu is full of Mexican originals and some surprises. Enjoy a regional wine and a beautiful vegan burger in the middle of #reutlingen. I was really impressed and loved being here as a guest. Try it if you're around!

1. Food was not fresh. It tastes like cooked few days ago. I ordered a taco with minced meat special without sauce, but then found some pieces of sauce spilled inside of the dish. How it come inside, i can only guess. I ate only half, but should I mention, that the next day spend my time like a rocket in WC. 2. Service was OK. Sad bartender, kindly waiter and unfriendly hostess. 3. Atmosphere is nothing special. Rare decorations barely remind that this is a mexican restaurant*crossed out* - place. Сonclusion: as a restaurant it gets 0 stars, as a bar it gets 2 stars. total 1 star and never again.

After a long time visited the Mezcalitos again. The menu has been redesigned and offers a variety of different Mexican food. The food was definitely delicious! I would still like it, if there is a little more selection of appetizers and small appetizers.

Service was terrible, didn’t even apologize and also tried to make us pay 20% more. Food was defintively schmecklich!!

Food was nice. Cocktails were good, but more expensive than the listed price on the menu. Had to remind server multiple times about our food as they completely forgot. When the bill came they tried to charge us an extra 20€. The poor service could have been just unlucky, but it ruined the atmosphere of our whole night.

Nowhere near as good as what you can get in the states, but props to them for doing something different. Only Mexican we saw for our entire Europe trip.

Not really authentic Mexican food, nevertheless food is really good and they have a good enough variety of Tequila bottles.

Food isn't mexican at all. The sauces are just tomato sauces. If you are looking for an authentic mexican restaurant. Forget it!
